The directors' debut film, Darkblue is a genre film that triggers recurring horror elements and themes. The short's impressive ability to shoot with a cell phone and the decoupage that alternates between the device's screen and the camera find a narrative justification that reinforces the power of first-person cinematography. In the short, traces of an unexplained death surface as Sofia fiddles with her cell phone alone at home.

SUELLEN E A DIÁSPORA PERIFÉRICA
SUELLEN AND THE PERIPHERAL DIASPORA
by Renata Dorea
Suellen hasn't come home for a while, but she sets her memories there, on the screen. At a fast pace, a profusion of photo memories is welcomed and framed by a canvas background that is ground, earth. Photographs seated in clay-red. Smiles, birthdays, the plastic swimming pool, the summer heat, the girl at the edge of the Pavuna River, which is now channeled. We remember, remember, remember, think, think, think, and then open our eyes and forget everything.

OURO PRETO, 2021, 16’
ANO 2020
YEAR 2020
by Coletivo Olhares (Im)Possíveis
In the face of such a difficult year, making a film becomes a space for invention. Young people who live on the outskirts of Ouro Preto mobilize a mosaic of glances and gestures. With the power of polyphony, a group talks about the challenge of learning at home and about ways to take care of themselves. With multiple gestures, a collective expresses the very process of group construction through images, through the relationship that can be formed from filming and editing, while walking and acting in a scene.
