LES TISSUS BLANCS
by Moly Kane
Les Tissus Blanc elaborates a brief, but complex, social circuit that has in the protagonist Aissa (Awa Ba) the catalyst for tensions about the taboo central to the narrative and still in force in contemporary Senegal. A film that, above all, engages in the valiant interest of transforming a very complex issue into cinema.

DANBI
by Jae Woong Moon
On a South Korean Island, Danbi, an eight-year-old girl, leaves a bottle with a note in the sea, in a small mourning ritual in memory of her mother. Her only friend, the dog “Moongchi”, falls ill, and Danbi must deal with the silence and immaturity of her father, a bohemian and relapsed guy, who doesn't seem to see the seriousness of her feelings. A film about childhood loneliness, with a command of time and rhythm that refers to the long narrative tradition of oriental cinema.

I WANT TO RETURN RETURN RETURN
-
by Elsa Rosengren
After confirming the unexpected visit of a distant friend, Elpi wanders through the Wrangelkiez district of Berlin, where ordinary life takes care of occupying bars, squares, and sidewalks. In this melancholy portrait of a cosmopolitan neighborhood, the endless hubbub of everyday conversations cannot hide what entwines the souls that inhabit there: the shared waiting for something that will not come and the reverberating desire to return to what is not yet known.
