SÃO PAULO, 2020, 18’
by Julia Leite
Using Google Maps and video calls, this film builds a color cartography leading us through São Paulo's neighborhoods. In tact with the details of the mapped scene, the refined decoupage produces commentary and echoes the reports. Access's listening strategy safeguards the singular strength of each narrated memory and stitches it together in a plural set: sometimes the speeches impregnates, in the visible landscape, an absence that shines, sometimes it makes us see the conflict that founds the space shown.

AS VEZES QUE NÃO ESTOU LÁ
THE TIMES I'M NOT THERE
by Dandara De Morais
This short film by Dandara de Morais shapes and elaborates the character's coexistence with borderline disorder. Mobilizing a series of resources, the film has skill in passing scenes, materializing the protagonist's thoughts/frenzies/crises. Intimate and personal issues gain sensitive and accurate latency when sharing the pain with the community/friendship/audience.
